Unique Las Vegas Careers
And now for something completely different
So you want a real career change? If you’re tired of that cubicle, one of these Las Vegas careers may be just right for you. If nothing else, they might get you thinking in a whole new way about the world of work. Some jobs are just so Vegas. I’ve tried to come up with a list of careers that generally are not found anyplace else.
Singing gondolier (Venetian) Roman Statue (Caesar’s) Knight on horseback (Excalibur) Circus performer (Circus Circus) Body Flying instructor (Flyaway Indoor Skydiving) Ferrari Salesman (The Wynn) Bunny Blackjack dealer (The Palms) Rock climbing instructor (Red Rock Climbing Center) Gold Mine tour guide (Raiders of the Lost Mine ATV and Gold Mine) Pirate ship crew (Treasure Island) Landsailing adventure guide (Land sailing Tours) Dolphin trainer (Mirage) Now, I have no idea how you would go about getting started in any of these jobs, but you could probably start by going online for the major hotels, and calling or visiting some of the other places. Please note that a fair number of these jobs do require acting and/or singing skills, decent physical condition, and at least one requires that you be an attractive young female. Strong legs, and a willingness to go underground might be enough for the Gold Mine tour Guide. Good hunting!
